Job Overview

Responsibilities

  • Conduct Interviews: Conduct comprehensive and insightful interviews with prospective students, either in person or through virtual platforms, to assess their compatibility with the Elizabeth School's mission, values, and educational philosophy.
  • Evaluate Applicants: Review applications, transcripts, test scores, and other relevant materials to assess applicants' academic potential, extracurricular involvement, character, and overall fit for the school.
  • Have a good understanding of the admissions process, as well as an understanding of academic qualifications and what level they are.
  • Collaborate with the admissions and interview team: Work closely with the team to ensure smooth coordination of all aspects of the admissions process, including application review, interview scheduling, and decision-making.
  • Maintain Records: Maintain accurate and organised records of all applicants, including interview notes, evaluations, and other relevant documentation. Ensure compliance with privacy and data protection regulations.
  • Attend Admission Events: Represent the Elizabeth School at admissions events, such as open houses, school fairs, and information sessions. Present the school's values and programs to potential students and families and provide personalised guidance based on their needs.
  • Deliver advice with casework on areas including tuition fees, payments, registration, funds and bursaries.
  • Provide financial support by signposting, referring students to appropriate services within and external to the University.
  • Stay Updated: Keep abreast of current trends and best practices in the field of admissions and education. Continuously develop knowledge of the Elizabeth School's offerings and educational advancements to effectively communicate with prospective families.
